Victory in Europe Day, also known as V-E Day, is a day celebrating the formal acceptance by the Allies of World War II of Nazi Germany's unconditional surrender of its armed forces on Tuesday, 8 May 1945.
Today, [May 8, 2020] is the 75th anniversary of that momentous celebration.

Ve Day Celebrations in London, England, UK, 8 May 1945
A number 3 double-decker bus slowly pushes its way through the huge crowds gathered in Whitehall to hear Churchill's Victory speech and celebrate Victory in Europe Day.
